Meet Your Instructor

Marina Teding van Berkhout

Cold Wax Artist & Instructor

I'm Marina, a Dutch professional artist living in the South of France. I created this free lesson because painting with cold wax medium changed everything for me. And then I discovered I could do the same with acrylics and I love to share my findings with you.  Whether you're a complete beginner or you've been painting for years, join me!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really free? +

100%! No credit card, no hidden costs. I made this lesson as a gift because I believe everyone deserves to experience the joy of painting. It's yours to keep forever.

Do I need any experience? +

Not at all! I'll walk you through every single step. If you can spread butter on toast, you can work with Powerwax. Seriously — just come as you are.

Is this class just for acrylics? +

Yes — this class is designed specifically for acrylics with Powerwax, so everything is geared to water-based materials and fast drying time.

What supplies do I need? +

The basics: acrylic paints, Powerwax, a few brushes, a palette knife, and a canvas or panel. I'll give you the full supply list inside the lesson — nothing fancy or expensive needed.

How long do I have access? +

Forever! Once you're in, the lessons are yours for life. Come back whenever you want — many students tell me they rewatch the demo every time they paint flowers.

POWERWAX BY POWERTEX

This is the water-based cold wax I use to create the same effects as cold wax with oils. It’s called Powerwax, and it's made by Powertex. Powertex has representatives in most countries, so feel free to contact me at marinatvb@outlook.com if you need help finding one!
